My name is Mirjam van den IJssel. I was born in a small village surrounded by tulips and, in 2008, I graduated as a graphic designer at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague.

As a designer I'm concept oriented and I'm always looking for innovative and original interpretations of ideas.

To me, designing is a hands on craft, I use different materials and very often combine media. As an all-round designer with a healthy dose of optimism and eagerness, I love to dive into new and varied assignments.

I find inspiration all around me, I love details, books, smiling, travel, bananas and dreams.
